Content is as they say KING. Real Estate Content is what consumers are looking for online when they ask search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing a question. But not all real estate content is created the same.
The right real estate content can not only help consumers find you online, but also establish you as the expert in your niche – the area expert. The wrong real estate content will not only not be found online, but could also hurt you.
No one will care if you are the best real estate agent in the world until you give them a reason to. Gone are the days of the self promotion marketing, you know the “we are the best”, “we sell more homes than anyone” “the best brokerage”, “ABR, CRS, GRI, Top Producer, “Presidents Circle” etc. Consumers not only don’t know what that means, they only care about how you can help them. Which means real estate agents need to create the real estate content buyers and sellers are actually looking for.
The best real estate content – by far – is video content. Not only is video easier to consume, is shorter, easier to find online, emotional, but video also lasts longer than any other content marketing medium. I still get calls and emails about real estate content I created over 6 years ago. Not really possible with a postcard or flyer.
